Summer Band is a great opportunity for all elementary and middle school band students to maintain their skills over the summer months in a fun, relaxing environment. Those students that do not continue to play their instruments over the summer months typically have a difficult time regaining their abilities at the start of the following school year. Participating in summer band allows students (and teachers) the frustrations of "getting to know your instrument" in September.  Best of all, summer band in completely free for all participating students.
